The first couple of years after that I tried to figure out if it was possible to build one or buy one of the two GT40's that had a title in Norway. At the time both came up for sale but I didn't have the space and money to realize it, nor the skills and equipment to build one. Even the Norwegian rules said that if you build one, you have to pay tax for a new car.

So the plan was simple, but it demanded a lot of work. I had to sell my apartment, buy a house that had a large garden, build a garage, then build or buy a complete or partly complete car. So when the house was purchased and renovated, it was time to go on with the garage

To do list:
  • Purchase a house
  • Build a workshop in the backyard
  • Build or buy the GT40
  • Get a title
